What happens when I make an enquiry?

We will call or email you (depending on your preference) and address some initial questions over the phone. We will then offer to set up a time to provide a free consultation (either with a nurse and/or with Dr Kim) so we can make a better assessment of your needs and ensure the treatment you are considering is right for you.

Is the free consultation in person or over the phone?

We can do your free consultation either in person or over the phone – whichever you prefer.

What will I get from the free consultation – will it just be a sales pitch?

During the consultation we carefully assess your concerns and provide suitable treatments options We do not sell products or medication at our clinic and we will not encourage you to undergo any procedures. Our goal is offer you treatment options that best achieves your desired goals. You will not be obligated to proceed with any treatments unless you chose to.

Do I need a referral? If no – why not?

If a referral letter is required, then it usually means that there will be an out-of-pocket expense for the patient. We do not charge a fee for consultation, therefore, there is no need for a referral letter. Our doctor (Dr Andrew Kim) is a hair transplant and cosmetic surgeon.

Is my treatment covered by my private health insurance?

No, the procedures and treatments we do are considered aesthetic medicine, which is not covered by Medicare. However, some surgeries are done in hospital and your health insurance may provide some cover depending on the fund and plan you are on. We recommend you contact your private health fund if you need to confirm your coverage.

Is my treatment covered by Medicare?

No, the procedures and treatments we do are considered aesthetic medicine, which is not part of the national health program.

What are your payment terms?

A 10% deposit is made at the time of booking. Full payment can be made on the day prior to your procedure or treatment.

How soon until I can get an appointment?

It is advisable to make appointments a week ahead so we can devote that time just for you to talk about what will work for you and your specific situation.

What will happen at my appointment?

During your appointment we provide advice on types of treatments available to meet your needs. Our qualified and experienced nurse will then administer the treatment during this appointment.

Will I be seen by a doctor at my appointment?

After a face-to-face assessment, if you would like to consider surgery as an option, we can arrange for you to see our surgeon Dr Andrew Kim, who will perform the suitable surgical procedures.

What professional associations does the clinic and/or its staff belong to?

Our staff holds current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Dr Kim is also a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and a range of other medical associations. Dr Kim performs surgery in major accredited hospitals throughout Australia.
